Game Wants Back In G-Unit

Even though 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks have publically said they aren’t trying to hear it and have seemed to move on, Jayceon is still pressing the issue of a possible reconciliation with his former clique.  Game recently took to Twitter again to profess his views that he would be down for a G-Unit reunion tweeting,

“I saw what he said & it is what it is.. but I kno da REAL @lloydbanks , a kool n!gga.. who loyalty is wit 50 so I respect it.”

“@50cent was a kool nigga 2 but sh!t changes sometimes, I was put in a position & I chose 2 ride wit what I BELIEVED IN, don’t REGRET SHIT !! TRUST and BELIEVE that @50cent @tonyyayo & @lloydbanks felt my WRATH when it was ON !!! If they say any different it aint REAL !!! But that sh!t was 2005 & now we comin up on 2011……. I’m GROWN, EGO out the doe & I’m 100% gone keep it REAL with YALL & MYSELF !!!”

“G-unit reunion might not EVER HAPPEN but NOBODY will EVER be able 2 say “GAME” didnt MAN UP when he had 2 & GO HARD when it was MY TIME !!! I KILLED A BRAND, A CLOTHING LINE & WENT AGAINST MY OWN RECORD LABEL & STILL WENT 5 TIMES PLATINUM !!! More FAMILY orientated now…. Got a woman, 3 beautiful kids… couple houses.. drove EVERY car & been around the world 5 times…”NOT BAD FOR A COMPTON NIGGA”

‘& #ONMYMAMA G-UNIT will NEVER be the same unless its: @50cent @thegame @tonyyayo @youngbuckmarley & @lloydbanks ! #evenCurtisKNOWdat. & you can “RUN & TELL THAT, HOMEBOY  & we’ll see who’s WHO & what’s WHAT after the R.E.D. album drop.”

As recently reported, last week, the exiled G-Unit member took to Twitter to try to rekindle the love with his former boss, 50 Cent relaying,

“@50cent Aye nigga, get on twitter & let’s get this shit movin !!! G-G-G-G- well, you know the rest. @50cent All it take is “ONE PHONE CALL” ! U call me, I call BUCK, tell Banks holla at Yayo & dat puts HIP HOP @ OUR MERCY ! #UknowUcdisNIGGA”

Fif has since commented on Game’s attempts to reach out via his Twitter account, tweeting,

“who is he talking about…I don’t talk to game I havnt had no communication with him in years”

Lloyd Banks later chimed in on the subject in a radio interview saying,

“Its too late to cry over spilled milk,” and adding, I would be interested to see if those same attempts to reach out to 50 Cent would be happening if he had #1 record on the radio right now.”

Game’s fourth solo LP, The R.E.D Album is set for a 2011 release, with no official release date.

What do you think? Is Game trying to gain publicity for his album, which has been pushed back several times? Or is his olive branch genuine?

50 Cent has joined forces with Michael Jackson for a song appearing on the King of Pop’s posthumous release, ‘Michael.’ According to the track listing, 50 is one of only a few features on the album which is full of previously recorded Jackson tracks. “Michael reached out to me to do this song before he passed,” 50 explained on his Twitter page Friday (Nov. 12). “It[s] going to be the biggest thing ever. Heís the one we got our idea from.”

The album also features the Lenny Kravitz assisted track ‘(I Can’t Make It) Another Day,’ and the Akon duet ‘Hold My Hand’ that has been chosen as the album’s lead single. The song was recorded back in 2007 and chosen as the first single after estate holders found a handwritten note from Jackson requesting that it be released first. “The world was not ready to hear ‘Hold My Hand’ when it leaked a couple years ago,” Akon said. “We were devastated about it. It has become an incredible, beautiful, anthemic song. I’m so proud to have had the chance to work with Michael, one of my all-time idols.”

As previously reported, fans questioned the authenticity of Jackson’s voice on the leaked track ‘Breaking News,’ which producers maintain is the singer’s voice. Although it has not be confirmed if 50′s song will become a single, the completed version of Jackson’s duet with Akon the will be released via MichaelJackson.com at 12AM EST Monday (Nov. 15).

This new album marks the first new material from Jackson in nine years. In the days leading up to his death, the pop icon was prepping for his final performances in London. Whispers of a new album had been in the works for years, as Jackson was said to have been working with other music industry big wigs, like Ne-Yo and Will.i.am. With increased interest in his brand steadily rising since his death, Jackson’s estate signed a seven-year record deal with Sony Music worth an estimated $250 million. The deal allows the record company to distribute as many as Jackson 10 projects including albums, DVDs and videogames.

‘Michael’ is slated for release on Dec. 14.

Hate it or love it, the Game has extended an olive branch to 50 Cent again.

The ousted G-Unit member took to his Twitter account on Thursday, firing off a round of mea culpas directed at his former boss apparently hoping to reunite with the Queens-based group, including former member Young Buck.

“@50cent Aye n—a, get on twitter & let’s get this sh– movin !!! G-G-G-G- well, you know the rest,” Game wrote. “@50cent All it take is ‘ONE PHONE CALL’! U call me, I call BUCK, tell Banks holla at Yayo & dat puts HIP HOP @ OUR MERCY! #UknowUcdisN—A. Anybody don’t like it, F— YALL!!!”

Fif has dismissed Game’s previous attempts at a reunion as publicity stunts. This time around, however, the California MC says his heartfelt comments are coming from a clear state of mind. Perhaps as proof of his sincerity, Game acknowledged for the first time that 50 wrote the hook on “How We Do.”

“Naw, I’m not drunk. IM SOBER AS F— holla’n @ a n—a str8 up. If it never happen, SO WHAT !!! But let it b known I extended an olive branch. Call me bi-polar, call me a fake blood… call my lyrics trash, I’ll TAKE IT, It dont mean SH–. If that’s how u feel say it ‘I LOVE IT’!!! I RESPECT MY HATERS JUST AS MUCH AS MY FANS.”

Unlike past attempts, the Game’s most recent barrage of tweets elicited a response from the G-Unit general.

“Who’s is he talking about?” Fif asked. “What are you guys talking about? I dont talk to game. I have had no communication with him in years.”

Last month, 50 reiterated his thought that Game was playing an old trick, looking to use him as a launching pad to get his The R.E.D. album off the ground.

“I heard that,” Fif told Hot 97 about Game wanting to re-join G-Unit. “It was six songs, they put out six joints and ain’t nothing buzzing. They thought anti-50 as opposed to pro-50. You know what I think? I think once I stopped arguing, the interest dropped. Because as long as there’s an argument, you’re as interesting as the people you’re actually arguing with.”
