G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks has been talking about how he has been inspired by Wu-Tang Clan member, Raekwon.

After hearing a track by The Chef, Banks knew he had to step up the levels before he got into the booth to collaborate with him.

Lloyd Banks told VIBE Magazine: “Soon as I heard Raekwon’s verse on ‘Last Train To Scotland’ it was on some storytelling s**t, so I already knew what I had to do with it.

“Rae is one of the best at that, so his verse opened up my mind. It wasn’t like I had a blank beat to go off of.

“It’s crazy because I’d already planned on going back into the storytelling thing on my next project, that’s a cool start for me.

“It’s actually easier for me to paint pictures as far as stories because it’s less punchlines; it’s more out the mind. It’s different than having to break your brain to come up with a witty line.”

Hmm, who is the most underrated artist? Lloyd Banks is a good choice for SOHH Underrated. I always feels the same way Kanye West feels about Lloyd Banks being the most underrated.

I don’t know what’s going on with [G-Unit], but if I had Lloyd, I would use him differently. Lloyd Banks is a good writer. I don’t know if he does hooks and ghost writes but there’s a lot of ways he could use his skills.

Lloyd’s got a talent that he can go far with and he’s really a dope rapper. I love all of his music, but I just want to hear him on some other beats sometimes. I want to hear him go outside the box.

Lloyd Banks has always been good. I always felt Lloyd Banks was great. Hopefully if he reads this we can get it in and sh*t. I want to get with Banks so we can make some smash hits. I f*ck with Lloyd. I think Pusha T‘s probably another underrated artist as well. There’s a lot of underrated artists when you think about it. The problem is you just got to put in the work.

Bangladesh is a producer known for working with Ludacris, 8 Ball & MJG, Petey Pablo, Missy Elliott, Young Money and others. Most recently, he is recognized for his Lil Wayne collaborations, “A Milli” and the “6 Foot, 7 Foot” smash.

From mid to late November Hip Hop fans were treated to a lot of big songs from Eminem. A couple songs from the reunited Eminem and Royce Da 5’9″, a collaboration with T.I. and two more with Lloyd Banks. The biggest of the bunch, in fact the most listened to song on DX in the past 6 months, was Dr. Dre and Eminem’s “I Need A Doctor .”

There has been some speculation as to what album the Alex Da Kid-produced song will appear on, but it appears that it will be released officially soon. According to HipHop-N-More the song will impact radio on February 1.

Days before this track leaked Alex Da Kid speculated that we would have a new Eminem album before Christmas, presumably a companion album like Relapse: Refill. While that obviously didn’t happen before the New Year, and those types of projects are usually tailor made for the holidays, there is still a chance this song could be for an Eminem project rather than Detox.
