40 Glocc was arrested less than a block away from Arbor Terrace Apartments, aka The Zoo, the infamous complex the rapper was been banned from, due to his alleged affiliation with the Colton City Crips.

Police claim they were patrolling the area when they stopped 40 Glocc and some associates, because they were loitering in an area near the apartment complex.

A 9mm handgun with a high-capacity magazine was found during a search of 40 Glocc’s Range Rover.

40 Glocc was arrested and charged with suspicion of carrying a concealed, loaded weapon. Bail is set at $100,000 dollars.

He was released yesterday afternoon.

“100′k OUT ON BAIL FRESH OUTTA JAIL CALIFORNIA DREAMIN SOON AS I STEP ON THE SCENE HEARIN B*TCH’S SCREAMIN! ZOOLIFE! RT THAT!” 40 Glocc tweeted.

Several other documented gang members were allegedly with the rapper at the time of his arrest.

In September of 2010, a judge officially banned 40 Glocc from the Arbor Terrace Apartments for allegedly selling drugs from the complex with other members f the gang, who have been barred from the complex since the original 2008 injunction was filed.

In May, 40 Glocc, born Lawrence White, released a single and video titled “F**k The Police” in response to the injunction.

Have you heard about “Tomorrow Today”? Well, not exactly yesterday, but recently, Curtis (50 Cent) Jackson said that’s the name of an action film project that he and boxer Floyd Mayweather are working on together.

At a press conference, the rapper-actor-producer talked about his Cheetah Vision Films company and described his friend Mayweather as now a “business associate.”

The film, which will be directed by Jackson, is set to shoot in Grand Rapids in August, according to HitFix.com.

A source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now) that Chelsea Handler dumped 50 Cent just before the holidays, leaving the 35-year-old rapper “heartbroken.”

Determined to win her back, 50 Cent — who was first spotted canoodling with the Chelsea Lately host in October — “spent Christmas sending her gifts, but she sent them back. She put a note on one that said, ‘I can buy my own gifts.’”

Though both Handler, 35, and 50 Cent recently attended the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, a reconciliation was the last thing on the Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang author’s mind.

According to an eyewitness, Handler had already set her sights on Uma Thurman‘s ex, hotelier Andre Balazs, 54. “They snuck kisses” at Bing Bar on January 22, the source says of the two. Handler and Balazs were later spotted partying at Tao before leaving together at 2:30 a.m.

“Chelsea and Andre are dating,” a Handler pal confirms to Us. “He’s exactly her type.”

50 Cent has invaded Hollywood with a string of roles alongside Tinseltown royalty like Al Pacino and Robert De Niro (“Righteous Kill”) and leading-man-in-the-making Chace Crawford (“Twelve”).

We all know that the G-Unit General can make a hit, but after he and producer Randall Emmett inked a reported $200 million deal to launch Cheetah Films, don’t be surprised if the rapper’s future lies in making fans sit down to watch him on the big screen instead of hitting the dance floor.

He hasn’t left New York for the West Coast just yet, but Terrence Howard said 50 is a more than capable actor. The two worked together on Fif’s first film, “Get Rich or Die Tryin’.” And according to the veteran actor (“Hustle & Flow,” “Crash,” “Ray”), he actually learned more from 50 than the other way around.

“One of the things that I learned, the hardest thing to do is be still,” Howard explained. “When you don’t know what to do, be still. He mastered that. And therefore, when he jumped forward and has something to say, he spoke the truth with it. That’s a genius. That’s what makes great film work. He was there from the beginning. I actually learned more from watching him, ’cause he taught me to be still.”

In addition to his film ventures and wrapping his next album, 50 Cent recently joined Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the Sundance Film Festival for the launch of the boxer’s Mayweather Productions.

FROM RAP FIX: Whether it’s a pipe dream or lofty aspiration, rapper, businessman and budding thespian 50 Cent wants to be viewed as a serious actor one day. Never one to set his sights low, the man born Curtis Jackson shared with MTV News last week at the Sundance Film Festival his Hollywood goals. When asked which actor’s career he’d like to emulate, the G-Unit honcho’s choice was one of the most celebrated actors of all time.

“Well, Sidney Poitier. I’d like to, you know, be with the top, you know,” a smiling 50 Cent said. “Shoot for the stars if you would do that.”

Whether or not Fif has the chops to hang with the pioneering Oscar-winning actor from the Bahamas is up for debate, but there is an area where the “Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ ” star may have some hope — comedy.
